I am very excited to announce the Choctaw Nation is in initial stages of Process Verification Program (PVP)-development for submission to the United States Department of Agriculture for packaging approval.
Over the last few years, I’ve mentioned our efforts to capture the points of market differentiation in our operational efforts to leverage and highlight the Choctaw Nation’s commitment not only to agriculture, but to our Faith, Family and Culture as part of our heritage. The PVP will capture this compelling message and will provide the licensing for the Choctaw Nation to market products under very distinguishable and unique label claims.
This is a very important next step to already-important animal husbandry, land stewardship, judicious pharmaceutical usage and beef quality efforts that have paved the way for our Freezer Beef program and meeting the needs of other internal distribution areas.
Ultimately, our story is the substantive aspect to our marketing platform. The products (beef, pecans, etc.) are simply the results of that; a way for the outside-consuming base to support these efforts. The PVP is the conduit to make it happen.
Until next time!
